Paired with the injury withdrawal of forward Eddie Johnson (left groin strain), the additions bring Jurgen Klinsmann's roster to 22 players for the USA's final two World Cup qualifiers. The Americans, who have already booked their ticket to Brazil 2014, host Jamaica on Friday in Kansas City, Kan., before wrapping the Hexagonal at Panama on Tuesday.
All three additions went 90 minutes in MLS action Wednesday night. Goodson and Wondolowski helped the San Jose Earthquakes to a 1-0 win over the Colorado Rapids, while Davis' Houston Dynamo played to a scoreless draw against Sporting Kansas City. San Jose and Houston are idle this weekend.
According to U.S. Soccer, Johnson is due to undergo an MRI on Thursday to determine the severity of the injury, which he suffered during Wednesday's training session.
