The Airtricity Premier Division side will link up with its American namesake, allowing players to move on trial between the two clubs.Bohemians announced details of a partnership with USL Premier Development League club Baltimore Bohemians.
The arrangement will see the two clubs work together to develop young talent, and may involve players going on trial between the sides. The teams will also help promote each other by selling merchandise, and may arrange a friendly as part of the relationship.
Bohemians president Matt Devaney expressed his delight at the arrangement in an official press release from Bohs.
"This linkup with Baltimore Bohs, like our recently announced partnership with the North Dublin Schoolboys’ League, opens up exciting development opportunities for players,” said Devaney. “We aim to offer various avenues through junior ranks into senior football. We look forward to fruitful relations with the directors, players and supporters of Baltimore Bohemians."
The Maryland club was founded in 2011 and features a nod to the League of Ireland club on its official crest. It plays in the American fourth tier, and also participate in the U.S. Open Cup.
