Houston Dynamo 1-0 Philadelphia Union: Ricardo Clark header downs tired Union

The former U.S. international scored with his head against a visibly exhausted Philadelphia side.
The Houston Dynamo defeated the Philadelphia Union 2-0 at BBVA Compass Stadium, the Union showing the signs of playing in the heat three days after a tasking draw in Utah.

The game had to wait until just before the hour mark to see its only goal. Ricardo Clark escaped his marker to head home Jermaine Taylor's cross in the 59th minute.

With a win, the Dynamo move back into the Eastern Conference playoff spots. Philadelphia sees an opportunity to go top of the East slip away.
