Bedoya stays hot with game-winning goal for Helsingborg

The U.S. midfielder scored for a career-high fifth time in all competitions to deliver three more points to the first-place Swedish side.
Alejandro Bedoya remained hot for Helsingborg, tallying the game-winning goal in the club's 1-0 victory over Syrianska on Sunday and setting a new single-season career high for goals in the process.

Bedoya put Helsingborg ahead in the 61st minute off a feed from David Accam, helping the club improve to an Allsvenskan-best 16 points through seven games.

Bedoya, a U.S. national team January camp call up, has five goals in 10 games across all competitions, including three scores in his last four league games. The five goals already marks a career high in a single season for Bedoya, whose previous best was a four-goal campaign he accomplished with Orebro in 2009 and 2011.
