Sacha Kljestan assisted on the second goal in Anderlecht's 2-0 win over Sporting Charleroi on Friday.
Both goals came in the first half. Dieumerci Mbokani opened the scoring with a one-time shot from close range. Five minutes before the break, Kljestan prodded the ball through the disorganized Charleroi back line with the outside of his foot. Massimo Bruno finished off the chance, and effectively the game. The U.S. international midfielder made way in the 76th minute.
The win sets Anderlecht 11 points clear at the top of the Belgian Jupiler League. The club has won 13 of its last 14 league matches, drawing the other.
