Clint Dempsey scored two goals and added one assist in Tottenham's 3-0 win against lower league side Coventry.
Clint Dempsey lived up to his nickname "Deuce" with an impressive performance in Tottenham's 3-0 FA Cup victory over English League One side Coventry City.

The American attacking midfielder scored two goals and added an assist to spark the Spurs home rout over the Sky Blues.

Dempsey got Tottenham rolling when he scored in the 14th minute off of a nice flick-on pass from Gareth Bale. Dempsey would return the favor to his Welsh teammate when Bale scored a volley off of the former Fulham star's shot, doubling the lead in the 34th minute. Dempsey would cap Spurs' victory as he took advantage of poor set piece defending by Coventry to score off of a corner from Gylfi Sigurdsson in the 34th minute.

Dempsey's brace increases his season goal tally to six goals in 16 appearances for Tottenham. The team's next game is against Queens Park Rangers on Jan. 14.
