thumbnail Hello,

Alejandro Bedoya made his Swedish return with a bang, scoring on his Helsingborg debut with an acrobatic effort.

Alejandro Bedoya scored on his debut for Helsingborg on Saturday. The reigning Swedish Allvenskan champion lost 2-1 to Elfsborg.

The U.S. international winger opened the scoring in the 37th minute. A free kick popped up in the box and Bedoya executed a bicycle kick to give his new club the lead.

The 25-year-old left Sweden a year ago, jumping from Orebro to Rangers in Scotland. Bedoya struggled for playing time in Glasgow, and left this summer following the liquidation of Rangers, which has been reestablished in the fourth tier in Scotland. Bedoya's contract with Helsingborg runs through the end of the 2012 season.

Helsingborg next takes on Rangers' Old Firm rival Celtic in a two-leg playoff to qualify for the Champions League.
