thumbnail Hello,

‘Becks’ has reiterated he is keen to return to the San Siro despite a number of offers from English sides.

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham claims a deal to re-join Serie A giants AC Milan is close to being finalized.

The 34-year-old England international spent half of last season on loan with the Rossoneri and is now eager to return to Italy’s fashion capital from January to boost his chances of making Fabio Capello’s squad for next summer’s World Cup finals in South Africa.

“There are other options available, but Milan is my first choice: it is close to being finalised,” Beckham confessed to the Mail on Sunday.

“I had a marvellous time there and they're a great club. I have always said since I left Manchester United that to play for another English club would be difficult.”

The ex-Real Madrid man has reportedly been approached by a number of Premier League sides, but is adamant he wants to go back to the San Siro.

Beckham netted two goals in 18 league appearances for the Diavoli last term.
