thumbnail Hello,

The coach of the American squad spoke on the comeback victory over El Salvador.

SANDY, Utah -- The USA had to dig deep after giving up yet another early goal. El Salvador finished well with a header to put the Central American squad up by a goal.

Yet the USA rallied in the first half, as first Clint Dempsey, then Jozy Altidore scored on headers of their own to pull the USA level, then ahead.

Landon Donovan had the assist on both USA goals.

The second half was touch and go as both sides had chances, but the scoreline remained the same until the final whistle.

The U.S. coach, Bob Bradley, spoke to the media after the match and shared some thoughts on the game.

The US must now prepare for an away match in Trinidad, in Port of Spain. With the CONCACAF qualifying games still tight, the US is looking to gain full points against the island nation.
