The Los Angeles Sol has won three straight matches, sitting in first place in the WPS standings.

New rivals, the Los Angeles Sol and FC Gold Pride battled for 90 minutes Sunday afternoon in Women’s Professional Soccer action. Marta tallied the lone goal to lead the Sol to a 1-0 win.

Los Angeles remains undefeated with a 3-0-0 record. FC Gold Pride lost its first match of the year and now owns a 1-1-1 record.

Los Angeles Sol coach Abner Rogers, Los Angeles Sol midfielder Aya Miyama and FC Gold Pride forward Tiffeny Milbrett took time to talk to Goal.com.

Rogers talked about Miyami and how the Sol players are coming together both on and off the field. Rogers also discussed the new rivalry.
