Another month has gone by and the USMNT continues to climb the FIFA World Rankings.
Bob Bradley and company have been experiencing a steady rise since November of last year when they were ranked 24th overall. Their most recent jump was three spots from 20th to 17th. The hurdle up the rankings could be due in large part to their impressive 2-0 victory over Mexico last month.
As for El Tri, they moved up one place despite the loss and now sit in 23rd position. Mexico's highest-ever ranking was the fourth spot, a place they held on four separate occasions.
The U.S. also reached the fourth spot back in early 2006, but haven’t been higher than 10th since their early exit from that year’s World Cup.
