2009 Confederations Cup Tickets Now On Sale
FIFA has announced that tickets are now on sale for the tournament being held in South Africa from June 14th-28th.
Tickets for the 2009 Confederations Cup are now on sale through FIFA.com, according to a press release from the US Men’s National Team.
The tournament, which is held every four years is scheduled between June 14th and the 28th, with a total of eight teams taking part. The members of the tournament are the winners of FIFA’s six confederations, the previous World Cup winner, along with the host nation of the next world cup.
Currently ranked 22nd in the world the US has been drawn into what many are calling this year’s ‘group of death’ as they have been pitted against current world champions Italy, five-time champions Brazil and African nations champions Egypt.
