Victor Sikora is a FC Dallas player for at least the next four months. If the American team is happy with his performances, they have the option to extend the deal for up to an additional three years.

The 30-year-old winger isn’t going to be the only Dutch player in the MLS. Fellow winger Dave van den Bergh is currently playing for New York Red Bulls. Also famous Dutch players like Johan Cruijff, Guus Hiddink and Wim Suurbier were once active in the American soccer scene.

Sikora started his career at Deventer side Go Ahead Eagles, where he played for five seasons. He also played for Vitesse Arnhem, Ajax and Heerenveen before signing for Breda side NAC in 2005. His contract with the Eredivisie side wasn’t renewed last summer, making him a free agent.

The quick winger was considered as one of Holland’s most promising wingers during his years with Vitesse. However, his career went downwards after moving to Dutch giants Ajax in 2002. Sikora made six appearances for the national side at the height of his fame.
