The Uruguay international has hinted that he could move to another league following constant negative press in England, with Real Madrid understood to be interested in the striker

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has confirmed his desire to leave England amid rumours of interest from Real Madrid.

On Wednesday, Goal exclusively revealed the Uruguay international has refused to commit his future to Brendan Rodgers' side with the 26-year-old unhappy with his portrayal by the English media.

Liverpool are ready to listen to offers for the Suarez, who is keen to play Champions League football, despite the club's public stance that the forward is not for sale.

Suarez insists the English media have created an environment he does not wish to live in and is open to moving elsewhere.

"I have a daughter and a family and I want to take them out of the current atmosphere," he told reporters. "I have feelings and I would like to go to another league.

"They [the media] treated me badly and it would be understandable if one day I leave the club."

The striker was named Liverpool Fans' Player of the Year after scoring 30 goals in all competitions, but he feels he will never be truly appreciated in the Premier League due to the way he is represented.

He added: "In England, I was never going to win any prize because of how they treated me."
