Multiple reports are making the rounds claiming U.S. national team defender DeAndre Yedlin has completed a transfer to Italian power AS Roma, but sources close to Yedlin confirmed to Goal USA on Friday that no deal has been completed yet for the 21-year-old.
Roma has been heavily linked with Yedlin for some time, and while sources tell Goal USA that the Serie A club is interested in his services, no transfer has been completed and Yedlin has yet to sign anything.

Yedlin has been the focus of heavy transfer speculation since impressing at the 2014 World Cup as a substitute, flashing his speed and fearlessness and making an impact as a right winger and also impressing at right back.
Yedlin has drawn interest from England, Italy, Germany, France and the Netherlands, with reports claiming a $6.5 million price tag has been put on the young defender.
If Roma does succeed in landing Yedlin, he would become the second American to play for the Roman club after Michael Bradley's two-year stint with the team.
