2-2 Netherlands

Japan looked to be dead and buried Saturday but a fine second-half comeback, inspired by Yuya Osako, salvaged a draw and provided the platform for the striker to enhance his growing reputation.

The 23-year-old found the back of the net and also showed the creative side to his game by setting up the equalizer, making him our World Player of the Week.

Goal's Dan Orlowitz said: "The Kashima Antlers striker is tied for third in the J-League goalscoring charts with 18 strikes this season, but his biggest performance may have come on Saturday afternoon at the Cristal Arena in Genk, Belgium.

"With the Samurai Blue 2-0 down to a determined Dutch side, the 23-year-old cooly slotted in a goal moments before halftime and assisted Keisuke Honda's brilliant equalizer to earn Japan a well-deserved draw. He'll be looking to score in his sixth straight game for club or country on Tuesday against Belgium."

Congratulations to Yuya Osako, Goal's 236th World Player of the Week winner!
