The Brazilian says he is enjoying his time in the French capital and wants to be a part of a bright future with the Ligue 1 leader.
The 42 million euro signing from AC Milan has helped his side to the top of Ligue 1, with les Parisiens on the cusp of winning their first domestic league title since 1994.
The defender has gained critical acclaim so far this season through a string of impressive performances and says he has no plans to move away from Paris any time soon.
"I'm glad to be part of an evolving team," the 28-year-old told le 10 Sport. "I'm happy in Paris, I'm happy to play with great players and to be part of an ambitious project. We were eliminated in the Champions League quarterfinals but we played well in both games. Today, I hope that with my teammates we will form an even stronger team."
The capital club is nine points clear at the summit of Ligue 1 and could be crowned champion next weekend if it takes three points against Valenciennes.
On Sunday, Javier Pastore's 50th minute strike guided PSG to a 1-0 victory over Evian.
