“There is no one on my level in France at the moment,” he roared in L’Equipe newspaper.
“I could come off as being arrogant, but I am sure of it.”
Vieira has been blighted by injury problems at the San Siro since joining Inter from Juventus in 2006, but has put in some encouraging performances in the early stages of this season.
“I knew that mine was a delicate situation, because I am not a regular starter at Inter,” he continued.
“But I am back to my standards and this is important. My objective is to play more regularly and give my all in order to be called up for next summer’s finals.”
Vieira has made nine appearances for Inter in all competitions so far this term and netted one goal in the 5-0 rout of Genoa in Serie A last month.
