Low could drop Gomez for Netherlands clash

The tactician has refused to rule out bringing in the Lazio man for the key encounter, despite the Bayern Munich striker's winner against Portugal.

Germany coach Joachim Low has refused to rule out the possibility of dropping Mario Gomez in favor of Miroslav Klose for the crucial Euro 2012 clash against Netherlands.

Despite the Bayern Munich striker netting the only goal in the win over Portugal, Low is unsure whether he will name an unchanged team for the second Group B game.

"I don't always say 'never change a winning team'. It is possible that I will make some changes but I have not decided yet," he told reporters. "I am always good for a surprise."

"I am glad that Miro [Klose] is feeling better. When he is fit he is world class. He is still missing a few things but he has progressed enough that he could start a match."

Die Mannschaft currently sit joint top with Denmark after both teams picked up 1-0 wins over Portugal and Netherlands respectively.
