The Past Winners Of The European Championships
Goal.com lines up the winners of the European Championships since the first edition in 1960.

The qualifying campaign for Euro 2012 will kick off on Friday for the majority of the big countries and several teams will be full of ambition for the tournament in Poland and Ukraine. Many expect one of the big teams such as Spain, Italy or Germany to go all the way in two years time, but history teaches us that it's not necessarily one of the traditional powerhouses that lift the trophy in the end.
