The former Atletico Madrid striker was full of praise for his compatriot, and congratulated him on his first hat trick for Argentina in the match against SwitzerlandManchester City forward Sergio Aguero has lauded Barcelona attacker and Ballon d'Or holder Lionel Messi.
The Argentine duo led the attack for Alejandro Sabella's team on Wednesday in the friendly against Switzerland, which the Albiceleste won 3-1.
In a message on the social network Twitter, Aguero stated that it is dream come true to train and play with the Messi, and congratulated him on his first hat-trick for the national set-up.
"Messi? If yesterday I was saying that it was a dream to train with him, it is even more so to play at his side," said Aguero.
"Amazing Lio! First hat-trick with the national team!"
Messi has made 67 appearances for Argentina so far in his career, bagging 22 goals in the process.
