Six World Cup-bound teams to play November friendlies in North America

Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Honduras and Chile will take part in the Gillette International Soccer Series next month.
The November international fixture date will be of significant interest to soccer fans across North America, as the Gillette International Soccer Series includes World Cup-bound sides playing their friendlies on this side of the Atlantic Ocean.
South American powers Brazil and Argentina will each play two matches as part of the series, and they will be joined by Ecuador, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Honduras and Chile. Fixtures will be played in New Jersey, Miami, St. Louis and Toronto.
Brazil will go up against Honduras, which finished the CONCACAF Hexagonal in third place behind the USA and Costa Rica, and the two sides will play at Sun Life Stadium in Miami on Nov. 16. Another South American side headed for Brazil, Chile, will face off against the World Cup host on Nov. 19 at Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Argentina, led by FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi, will go up against Ecuador at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Nov. 15 in a meeting of South American sides who both qualified for the World Cup directly through the CONMEBOL process. Three days later, Argentina will head to Busch Stadium in St. Louis to play against Bosnia & Herzegovina, which is fresh off clinching its first World Cup berth and will relish playing in front of the Bosnia-heavy population in the St. Louis area.
