thumbnail Hello,

The former Fenerbahce midfielder has made the decision to rejoin the club where he started his professional career after recently leaving the Istanbul side.

Coritiba announced on its official website that it has secured the services of Alex on a free transfer.

The Brazilian outfit was keen to add some more experience to their squad, and has now found its man in the 35-year-old attacking midfielder.

"I've always dreamed of my return, but I'm insignificant comparing to Coritiba and its supporters. Now we all need to make this dream come true," the forward stated. "For all of you that dream about a strong and victorious Coritiba, I ask that you'll be at Couto Thursday afternoon."

Alex started his professional career at Coritiba in 1995, and had since worn the jerseys of clubs such as Palmeiras, Flamengo, Parma, Cruzeiro and Fenerbahce.

He had been available on a free ever since leaving the Turkish giant earlier this month.
