Thiago Silva thanks personal therapist following Brazil's win over Denmark

The AC Milan defender played his first 90 minutes in almost two months on Saturday and was delighted to have finally overcome his troublesome thigh issues.
Thiago Silva has thanked personal therapist Marcelo Costa for the work he has done to help him regain full fitness in the aftermath of Brazil's 3-1 victory over Denmark on Saturday.

A double from Hulk along with a Niki Zimling own goal earned a young Selecao side a comfortable win at the expense of the Danes in Hamburg, denting the Danes' preparations for Euro 2012 in the process.

The 27-year-old started the match alongside Juan at center back and revealed his happiness at returning to the football pitch after a lengthy layoff due to a string of thigh setbacks.

"I personally am very happy because it is normally not easy to play a full match after two months, so it was a great joy," Thiago Silva told reporters after the match.

"I take this opportunity to thank a person named Marcelo Costa, the physical therapist who has been helping me recover."

Next up for Brazil is another friendly encounter with the USA on May 30.
