Brazilian side Corinthians have confirmed that they will organize a farewell game for legendary attacker Ronaldo. The former Brazil international recently announced his retirement from professional football.
Corinthians president Andres Sanchez told Radio Jovem Pan that it's a shame that Ronaldo didn't get the chance to say farewell to the Corinthians faithful and that a player of Ronaldo's stature deserves that opportunity.
Sanchez didn't disclose any details about the date or location of the game. It isn't known yet either which players will feature in Ronaldo's farewell game with Corinthians.
The 34-year-old attacker has already been offered a farewell game with Brazil's national side. Ronaldo will say farewell in the Selecao's international friendly against Romania on 7 June.
