Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been named attacker of the 2012-13 season by Goal readers.
Ronaldo, 28, continued his incredible goal-scoring record at Los Blancos by netting 34 goals in 34 games in La Liga and was the top scorer in the Champions League with 12.
The Portuguese international fired Madrid to a Spanish Super Cup triumph, a runner-up position in both La Liga and the Copa del Rey, and a place in the Champions League semifinals, where the club fell to Borussia Dortmund.
Ronaldo, who recorded 29.62 percent of the vote conducted by readers of Goal International, finished ahead of Barcelona rival Lionel Messi, Manchester United star Robin van Persie, Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski and AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.
