thumbnail Hello,

Ahead of the Gunners' trip to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, the 66-year-old insists he does not envy Manuel Pellegrini's squad as he has more versatile players at his disposal.

Arsene Wenger insists he does not envy Manchester City's squad because Arsenal has "more creativity" than Manuel Pellegrini's side.

The Gunners currently sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, although City boasts a 100 percent home record ahead of Saturday's clash at the Eithad Stadium.

However, Wenger believes it is easier for him to rotate because of the versatile players at his disposal.

"City has a strong squad, I don't deny that but, when I look at my squad, I don't envy them," Wenger told reporters. "I would say we have more creativity, perhaps less impact physical players, but more versatile. It's easier for me to rotate."

Goal revealed earlier this week that Bacary Sagna is set to miss Arsenal's crunch clash with Manchester City and Wenger confirmed that the Frenchman is a doubt. However, the Gunners boss did reveal that forward Theo Walcott is looking stronger this week.

“We have doubts about Sagna. He has a test today.” Wenger added. “It took Walcott a while to get back to full power but he is looking stronger this week."
