Ibrahimovic: I never considered leaving PSG

The Paris-Saint Germain star insists he was never tempted to bolt the club this summer and is committed to the Ligue 1 champion.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has insisted that he never had any intention of leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

The Sweden international was briefly linked with a return to Juventus before the Serie A champion signed Carlos Tevez, as the arrival of Edinson Cavani at PSG cast doubts over Ibrahimovic's future at the club. The powerful attacker has made it clear that a transfer was never an option, though.

"I always knew that I would not leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The club takes care of me very well," Ibrahimovic said at a press conference. "Of course, you never know what will happen, but I never really considering leaving PSG."

The 31-year-old Ibrahimovic, who led Ligue 1 in goals last season with 30, has a contract with PSG until June 2015.
