Netherlands star Robin Van Persie has moved above Dutch legend Johan Cruyff in his country's international goalscoring records.

The Manchester United striker doubled his side's lead in its World Cup qualifier against Romania after Rafael van der Vaart had opened the scoring.

The 29-year-old then scored his second of the match from the penalty spot in the 65th minute, taking him to 33 international goals, one above Cruyff.
