The Tottenham goalkeeper is expecting a close battle but believes the three games after Tuesday's game are of equal importance.Hugo Lloris has insisted that France's World Cup 2014 qualifier against Spain will not be decisive in the team's quest to clinch top spot in Group I.
Les Bleus hold a two-point lead over Spain going into Tuesday's encounter in Paris, but Lloris realizes his team faces a difficult task to defeat the reigning world and European champions.
"It will be a very difficult game for us, but it will not be decisive. There are still three more games to go after Tuesday's match," Lloris was quoted as saying by AFP. "Things are looking good for us now, but we cannot afford to get complacent. We need a strong performance, just like the second half in the first leg.
"We must be up for the task against the best team in the world. We will probably suffer a bit, but we know that we can cause Spain problems. We believe in our own abilities."
France held Spain to a 1-1 draw in October.
