Petersen: I have no chance under Guardiola

The striker has announced his intention to leave the Allianz Arena after his loan spell with Werder Bremen finishes in the summer.

Nils Petersen believes Pep Guardiola arrival at Bayern Munich could signal the end of his time at the club.

The striker, who is currently on loan at Werder Bremen, has scored nine goals in the league so far this season but still thinks that he will have to move away from Munich in the summer.

Petersen is currently behind Mario Mandzukic, Mario Gomez and Claudio Pizarro at the Allianz Arena and told Bild of his happiness at playing regular first team football.

"For Pep Guardiola, Petersen is certainly not the most important of personnel. But we are in contact with Matthias Sammer. When the three current strikers remain, for me it does not make sense in Munich," he said.

"Here I feel good and I know what I have. I feel that I am important here."

The 24-year-old signed for the Bavarians in 2011 from Energie Cottbus for 2.8 million euros.
