The new show on Fox Soccer will feature celebs and soccer stars reliving their favorite soccer moments.On Saturday afternoon, Fox Soccer will debut a new original series that will have soccer stars and celebrities talk about their favorite moments on the beautiful game.
Through archived clips, pictures and commentary, each episode of My Beautiful Game will explore a new and different theme from some of soccer’s most storied events. The series premiere features guests weighing in on his or her “Greatest Goals,” with following episodes covering the greatest FA Cup moments, players, saves and stadiums, as well as the worst own goals, from the sport’s past.
Episodes feature current players, such as U.S. Men’s national team stars Clint Dempsey, Tim Howard and Landon Donovan, former LA Galaxy and Manchester United skipper David Beckham, former Chelsea talisman Didier Drogba, as well as former England international and Barclays Premier League players Gary Lineker, David Seaman, and former Welsh international midfielder Vinnie Jones. In addition, My Beautiful Game hosts prominent fans of the global sport, such as Pau Gasol, Ndamukong Suh, Chris Harrison (“The Bachelor”), Georgie Thompson (Sky Sports), and Nigel Lythgoe (“American Idol”). The program will also
include comments from FOX Soccer analysts and former players Warren Barton and Eric Wynalda, in addition to lead studio host Rob Stone who also narrates the series.
