thumbnail Hello,

The Slovakian believes that the loss to the Old Lady will make his side more determined to succeed in the coming weeks and continue the Serie A challenge.

Napoli forward Marek Hamsik believes that the Azzurri's defeat to Juventus in the top-of-the-table-clash on Saturday will inspire the team to perform better for the remainder of the season.

The Slovakia international admitted he felt the Serie A leader was slightly fortunate to run out a 2-0 winner in Turin and that a defensive error for Martin Caceres' goal cost the team at least a point.

"Juve had a lot of the ball but never looked dangerous," he told Tuttosport. "Unfortunately we left Caceres alone at the corner, and we were punished."

Walter Mazzari's team remains second in the table despite the loss, and Hamsik feels that the team must take the disappointment out on its next opponent after failing to take the chance to move to the summit of the league.

"This defeat will give us the right sort of anger for the next games. We start next weekend against Chievo, and that will be important," he said. "We then go to Bergame [to play Atalanta] and that will also be tricky.

“We have to work hard.”
