El Shaarawy: AC Milan confident things will improve

The Italy international has little doubt that the 2011 Scudetto winner will get back on track in the not too distant future.

AC Milan attacker Stephan El Shaarawy and his teammates are confident that the Rossoneri will be able to turn things around shortly as they prepare for Wednesday's Serie A match against Cagliari.

The San Siro outfit has been in disappointing form in the opening weeks of the season as the team has lost three out of it first four Serie A games, but El Shaarawy has little doubt that the team will improve in the weeks to come.

"I am happy about my first goal of the season [against Udinese], but I want to keep scoring," El Shaarawy stated to the official Milan website. "Doing it at home [versus Cagliari] will raise confidence. We know that we are a good team and we are all confident that things will improve.

"We are working hard and we will improve. I feel that I have been finding my form over the last two or three games and it is just a pity that my goal did not help us win."
