Carlo Ancelotti has strengthened his squad during the summer transfer window by bringing in stellar names such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva from AC Milan and Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli after finishing second to Montpellier last season.

The former Osasuna man has spoken of how he thinks the Parisians will be one of the strongest teams in the division this time round, particularly after signing players of Ibrahimovic's quality.

"PSG are good for the Ligue 1 title," the 22-year-old told his club's official website. "They have invested a lot of money and have recruited a lot of very good players with incredible track records and extensive experience. They have a lot of talent now.

"It is good for the league to boast new players. It will improve the level, and now it will be hard for everybody."

When asked about Ibrahimovic, who he faced during his time at Estadio El Sadar, he said: "It's hard, he is a hell of a player!"
