The former Juventus midfielder has nothing but praise for his new teammate, and insisted that the Parisiens only want the title this term.
The Sweden international recently joined PSG from AC Milan, and Sissoko believes the attacker will succeed at the Parc des Princes.
"Everyone knows that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will bring a lot to the team and will pull everyone up," Sissoko stated to Eurosport. "He has won a lot of titles with many different clubs, so that's positive. He is a big competitor and that's good for Paris Saint-Germain, which is becoming a great team."
The midfielder then went on to discuss PSG's objectives for the 2012-13 campaign, and stressed that the club only wants the Ligue 1 title.
"We will not hide. Our goal is to be champions. It will erase the mistakes we made last season," he said.
"The club has invested a lot on very important players and we know what lies ahead. We will not put extra pressure on ourselves - we will just do the work to achieve our objectives that are the championship and a good run in the Champions League."
