Report: Ajax midfielder Theo Janssen could return for Manchester United clash

Ajax has been boosted the news that Theo Janssen is in contention to make his return from injury in Thursday's Europa League last 32 first leg clash with Manchester United.
The influential midfielder picked up a groin problem against Utrecht last Sunday week but is now expected to return to training on the eve of the game in Amsterdam. Speculation is now rife that Janssen could not only feature against United, he might even start.
The 30-year-old's availability would be a massive boost for Ajax coach Frank de Boer, who will be without Eyong Enoh, Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Gregory van der Wiel, Derk Boerrigter and Andre Ooijer for the visit of the Premier League champions.
Janssen, who has six Netherlands caps to his name, joined Ajax from Twente last summer for a fee of 3.2 million euros.
