Real Madrid has announced on its official website that Hamit Altintop will spend some time on the sidelines with a calf injury.
The Turkey international has suffered a fibrillar tear to the internal calf muscle of his left leg, which could rule him out for several weeks, depending upon the extent of the problem.
Altintop, who joined Madrid last summer on a free transfer, has made four Primera Division appearances since the start of the season.
Meanwhile, AS claims that Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria are both available for Sunday's match against Levante after recovering from their respective fitness problems, while Marcelo will likely miss the contest with a muscle injury.
