Edin Dzeko says that he is finally settled and happy at Manchester City, while also optimistic of sealing Premier League glory this season.
Thirteen months after his move to Manchester from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, the striker believes that he stands a good chance of winning his first league title with the club, as long as injuries do not conspire against Roberto Mancini’s side.
“Now I'm here for more than a year, I can say that I feel at home,” the Bosnian marksman told SportSport.
“The city is nice and I don't have any problems with it. The people are great. They recognize me and I've even got some new friends here.
“Football? It is going smoothly,” Dzeko added.
“We are in a good position and, even if there are many games until the end, I feel we can be optimistic.
“I hope we won't have any problems with injuries as every player is so important to us.
“And if we are lucky and ready to fight, that could be the main thing in the fight for the title.”
The 25-year-old has scored 12 goals so far to help his side to a two-point lead at the top of the Premier League table as the Etihad Stadium outfit look to secure a first top-flight championship since 1967-68.
