Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has insisted that he never considered leaving the Old Lady as he is happy with life at the Serie A table-toppers.The Italy international was being linked with a move away from Juventus in the summer transfer window, but Marchisio stressed that a departure was never an option for him.
"Although there were a lot of rumors about a potential transfer, I always had the club's full confidence," Marchisio was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
"I never even thought about leaving Juventus. I had only just signed a contract extension and had absolutely no reason to think about a transfer."
The Juventus star then went on to discuss his side's title credentials and reminded that it's still too soon to think about winning the Scudetto.
"It's not like we're not talking about the title, but it's still very early. At the moment, we're first in the table and that's important to us. However, there are so many more games to be played.
"We have shown that we can play some good football and we will now have to keep up that good form. We can't make any mistakes."
