The ex-Espanyol striker has been banned by Luis Enrique after his violent conduct in the capital city side's recent defeat to Udinese, and has said sorry for his actions
"I am very sorry for what happened; they are things that must remain in the locker room," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.
The capital city side fined the former Espanyol frontman 50,000 euros and banned him for one game following the violent act, which happened in the away side's dressing room after the loss.
The 25-year-old was annoyed that Lamela did not pass the ball to him to create a chance against Francesco Guidolin's men, but recently admitted that he regrets his actions.
"After five minutes, I was sorry and I apologised to everyone. Erik is a great guy, he is very strong.
"It's all over, hopefully we will not talk about it any more," he concluded.
Osvaldo will miss Roma's trip to take on Fiorentina this weekend at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
