The Mexican coach is in confident mood ahead of the clash against the Liga champions but noted his side is desperate to move up in the table.

Real Zaragoza coach Javier Aguirre says he has complete confidence in his side's ability to gain a positive result against Barcelona this weekend.

The Romareda outfit travels to Barca hoping to gain some distance over the relegation zone as it sits 16th in the Liga table.

"I fully trust my team, although we are going to play against Barca," Aguirre told a press conference.

Aguirre said that this week's practice sessions were evidence his men will put in a good display against Barca and revealed he will not use the same system with three defenders that saw Zaragoza suffer a narrow 1-0 defeat at Camp Nou last season.

"I will not repeat that system because the players have told me not to do it with their attitude. We have no reason to change anything and I am the first person to trust my team," the Mexican said.

"We are suffering with our position in the table, so we will have to tighten the screws, put a little bit more effort, be intense and have a great attitude."
