Victor Valdes: Barcelona has improved with Pep Guardiola every year
The Spanish custodian believes that the coach plays a key part in the club's success, and has also revealed he is already looking forward to facing arch-rivals Madrid in December

Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes believes that the Camp Nou club have improved each season under Pep Guardiola.
"With Guardiola, Barcelona have improved every year, and every season we play better than we did the season before," he told RAC 1.
The 40-year-old took charge of the Catalan giants in 2008 and has since won 12 titles to become the most successful coach in the history of the club.
Guardiola's contract runs out at the end of the season, and the former midfielder has yet to commit his future to his current employers.
However, Valdes has stressed that he hopes the coach will remain at Camp Nou and has underlined his importance to the club.
"He has marked an era at the club and I hope he will continue here for many more years."
The 29-year-old custodian then conceded he is looking forward to meeting Real Madrid, who are three points clear at the top of the league, at the Santiago Bernabeu on December 10.
"It will be a tense and vibrant match, in which good football will be displayed," Valdes noted. "Madrid have always been a very strong team and they have always been at the top, fighting for the titles."
Starting this week and continuing every Friday through to January, Goal.com will publish extracts from Graham Hunter's highly-anticipated book, Barca: The Making of the Greatest Team in the World, kicking off with a fascinating segment on Lionel Messi's rise to the top at Camp Nou. Don't miss it!
