thumbnail Hello,

The Danes are not at full strength for the start of their South African preparations.

Liverpool’s Daniel Agger has withdrawn from Denmark’s squad that will face South Korea and the United States over the next week.

The defender aggravated an old back problem during his club’s 2-2 with Birmingham City on Monday.

Denmark take on two fellow 2010 World Cup participants and host Korea in Esjberg on Saturday and the United States in Aarhus four days later.

Coach Martin Olsen is already without Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner who recently went under the knife to treat a groin injury.

FC Utrecht midfielder Michael Silberbauer is also injured and has been replaced by Daniel Jensen of Werder Bremen.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Stephan Andersen (Brondby), Thomas Sorensen (Stoke City).

Defenders: Lars Jacobsen (Blackburn), Michael Lumb (Aarhus), Per Kroldrup (Fiorentina), Simon Kjaer (Palermo), William Kvist Joergensen (FC Copenhagen), Michael Jakobsen (Aalborg).
