Head coach Stephen Hart released his roster Thursday for Canada's upcoming training camp, and the squad included many veterans well known to Canadian soccer fans.
Seasoned pros such as Dwayne De Rosario, Julian de Guzman, Kevin McKenna, Atiba Hutchinson, and Ante Jazic headline the 22-man roster, which was selected ahead of Canada's friendly versus the United States on June 3, followed by World Cup qualifying dates with Cuba (June 8) and Honduras (June 12).
At 36 years old, Jazic is the oldest member of the Canadian squad, with 17-year-old Samuel Piette at the other end of the spectrum. The unattached teenager - who has been rumored to be linked to newly-promoted Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf - impressed at the recent Olympic qualifying tournament and was a surprise inclusion into Hart's roster.
The squad will begin to gather in Florida next week for a training camp before heading to Toronto ahead of the U.S. friendly.
