Ready, Set, Design! Goal.com's New Logo Contest Is Open!

Are you a graphic designer? Do you spend your weekends painting oils? Or do you just doodle in your notebook during math class?

Now is your chance to show the world in Goal.com's New Logo Contest. You could win $2,500!

Goal.com's users have always been the heart of the site, the reason Goal.com exists at all and why we work so hard to bring you the best and quickest news from the soccer world every day. In many ways, you are Goal.com.

And we want you to design Goal.com's new logo--something that reflects what Goal.com means to you and to the millions of users all around the world who join you every day on Goal.com. We believe that soccer has a unique capacity to unite the world, and the logo will help unite Goal.com users from every corner of the globe.

The winner will be chosen by Goal.com's users, too. After the submission period, registered Goal.com users are invited to vote for their favorites.

Here's a quick summary of the guidelines.

- The submission period is now open and lasts until June 2.

- Designs can be done in whichever format you prefer (PDF, EPS, JPEG, GIF, PNG…). Even if you draw your design, you can scan or photograph it and submit it. Click here for free design software.

- The voting period will be a poll on Goal.com and last 15 days. The winning design will earn its creator $2,500. There are also 20 secondary prizes ($100 gift certificate at Goal.com Shop).
