Luis Fabiano scored a second half brace to lead Brazil to a comeback 3-2 win over the United States in the Confederations Cup final. Early goals from Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan put the U.S. two goals to the good, but a scintillating second half performance from Brazil took the cup.

A Sprint To Third

The third place match in the Confederations Cup was a thriller with Spain walking out the winners in overtime. After taking a lead in the second half, South Africa passed out two quick goals only to level the match in injury time, but Spain proved too strong in the extra frame.

Deadly Dani

There was no upset in the Confederations Cup second semifinal. A late free kick from substitute Dani Alves was enough for Brazil to beat hosts South Africa. The Samba Kings will move on to face the USA in the final, and South Africa will battle Spain for third place.
