The ever-growing contingent of Mexicans Abroad saw a big change while others learned their European future.

Carlos Salcido's long-rumored move out of the Netherlands finally came down as Salcido became the latest Mexican international to move to England. Salcido joined Fulham and will be manning the left side of the pitch at Craven Cottage for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, the Champions League draw gave participating Mexicans Abroad a chance to see their path to European glory. Manchester United drew Valencia, Rangers and Buraspor, giving Javier Hernandez the opportunity to play against top-flight European competition. Carlos Vela and Arsenal, meanwhile, will face off against Nery Castillo's old side Shakhtar Donetsk as well as Braga and Partizan Belgrade. Giovani Dos Santos' Tottenham Hotspur reached the tournament proper and were drawn into a group featuring holders Inter, Werder Bremen and Twente. Jonathan Dos Santos has been fighting for a spot on Barcelona and could see time against Panathinaikos, Copenhagen and Rubin Kazan.
