The friendly will take place on December 21 at a cost of €1.7m to the Kuwaiti side. However, Barcelona have made it clear to their opponents that many of their star players are unlikely to take part.
The Club World Cup concludes on December 19 in Abu Dhabi, and six of the European champions' players will then travel to Zurich for the FIFA World Player of the Year awards on December 21.
Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thierry Henry and Carles Puyol will, therefore, not be able to play in the friendly.
Furthermore, the Catalan side are due to play a friendly on December 22, and Oliver affirmed that the likes of Gerard Pique and Sergi Busquets would be available to la Seleccion if they were required.
