The Spaniard's hat trick and the Argentine's two goals fired Manchester City past CSKA Moscow and into the knockout stage of the Champions League.
Two goals from Aguero and a hat trick for Negredo, his first since joining the club from Sevilla in July, secured a 5-2 victory over CSKA Moscow to put Manuel Pellegrini’s men into the knockout round.
"They are working well," Toure told Sky Sports. "They are sharp and they deserve it. They were amazing. Today is a special day for the fans and the club as it is the first time we have gone through to the next round."
Toure was the subject of racial abuse in the reverse game in Russia and the midfielder believes Manchester City’s supporters at the Etihad Stadium set an example to the CSKA fans.
"It's amazing, I think it's deserved by the club. We go through to the second round for the first time and it's unbelievable," Toure said. "I thought we played amazingly well today and we have to say thank you to the fans as well. They showed to the fans of CSKA how supportive our fans are.
"It was very nice to win today, it was very fantastic. We are happy with the win today and I think today is a special day for the fans and for the club as well."
